Art that Describes me

This photograph by artist unknown represents my undying support and trust to many if not all of those in my life. I have always been the friend that everyone can rely on or the family member who will always be there. I'm the first to offer someone help if they are in need and I am the last to leave when everybody has walked out.

This piece by Philippe Halsman of Marylin Monroe would represent me as feminine yet strong. My life has had it's share of disappointments and setbacks, but I find it refreshing to focus on things I have successfully accomplished thus far, as well as, all the great opportunities I have to look forward to in the future. I have always enjoyed a good challenge, and I have learned that life is full of them. Getting through these challenges is what will keep me strong in all aspects. At the same time I always keep things classy. I wasn't always a girly girl, but I have found pleasure and satisfaction in getting all dressed up and glamored up from time to time. Other than that I am usually a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl.

This is a piece Titled State of Tranquility by Walfrido Garcia. To me this is what paradise would look like. This painting would represent my peaceful side, and would also represent me as relaxed and content. The beach has always been an escape for me which is why i find this painting fitting. Luckily I have always lived withing driving distance from the ocean, so at any time that I have ever felt overwhelmed or just out of it, I could always go to the beach and sit and just be at peace.

This piece by Leonid Afremov displays love and passion. This piece would describe me as romantic. I think that the light and dark in the painting could be related to the light and dark times in a relationship, but with the right person it's a walk in the park so to speak.

This is a piece by Chris Consani titled Java dreams. This piece not only represents my passion for old Hollywood, but also describes my bubbly and flirtatious side represented by Marylin Monroe in the hot Pink dress. Marylin also displays a confidence which overwhelms the painting making her the one object that stands out the most.

I absolutely love your pictures with Marylin Monroe! I felt that you did an excellent job capturing the sassy, strong, wholesome "sex-appeal" (by our standards anyway), from the Old Hollywood era. I too love that style, and what you represented in your pictures illustrated exactly what draws me to that time era as well.
